"As you probably know by now we'll be playing the 2nd Annual Musink Tattoo and Music Fest this year. We're headlining Saturday Feb 21. There are a lot of great bands playing, a TON of amazing tattoo artists from around the world and a lot of other cool stuff too. We hope to see you there... would be a perfect place to get an Atreyu tattoo or some Atreyu t shirt too ;)
Atreyu's Canadian producer GGGarth Richardson Produces new Album
Gallows have been working on the record at London's RAK Studios with Canadian producer GGGarth Richardson (Atreyu, Hedley). The disc also features a vocal contribution from Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neil on "Graves."
"There's some serious mid-'90s hardcore groove on the album," Cancer Bats vocalist Liam Cormier told Kerrang! magazine. "This is the first time that we have heard any of their new songs, and it sounds great. It's awesome to be a part of what we might call one of the most anticipated punk rock albums in UK history!"
Cancer Bats recently shot a video for "Deathsmarch," the new single from last year's Hail Destroyer, in Toronto. They're taking a brief touring break before heading out for a few Canadian dates prior to a stint on this year's Rock Star Taste Of Chaos tour with Thursday, Bring Me The Horizon, Four Year Strong and Pierce The Veil.
Ozzfest second-stage buddies Atreyu and Bleeding Through plan to continue their road relationship when the multi-band metalfest comes to a close. The bands, joined by Scars of Tomorrow and Silverstein, are lining up a monthlong fall tour to begin in October. An complete itinerary is forthcoming. ... Bono sang at the private funeral for Susan Buffett, wife of billionaire investor Warren Buffett, in Omaha, Nebraska, on Monday. Susan was active in philanthropy, including AIDS awareness and prevention, a cause for which Bono has fought over the years. ... Bone Thugs-N-Harmony rapper Krayzie Bone will release his third solo album, Gemini: Good Vs. Evil, on September 28. Lil Jon produced the first single, "Getchu Twisted," which features Krayzie's Bone Thugs mates on the remix. ...
This summer's tour will feature 'at least one' onstage wedding, according to founder Kevin Lyman
Even as much of the Northeast finds itself in the middle of a bone-chilling cold snap, it's never too early to start thinking about those balmy summer months — especially if you're a fan of the Warped Tour. Details for the 2005 version are piling up faster than that snow drift outside your window.
Just-announced acts on this summer's tour include the Offspring, Fall Out Boy, MxPx, the Dropkick Murphys, No Use for a Name, Atreyu, Strung-Out, Mest and Hawthorne Heights. They'll join previously confirmed acts the Transplants, My Chemical Romance and Thrice on the tour's 11th annual jaunt.
